The winning duck on the day was number 15 470 which belonged to Raylene Bishop from Taringa who purchased a flock of seven ducks online.
“I can’t believe I have won a brand new car- that is fantastic. I didn’t enter the race to win a car but this is certainly an added bonus,” Raylene said.
“I wanted to support the duck race and the PA Research Foundation as I feel I am one of the few lucky ducks that has not been touched by cancer in my family.
“If we can change the lives of generations to come through events like this then I will be a supporter for life and I encourage others to get behind this great cause and help make a difference.”
