Create Your Own Webpage
As soon as you have purchased your duck in the race or have registered for the Team Duck Race Challenge you can create your very own webpage to FUNdraise for your duck to support cancer research. You can use the page to send emails, communicate your personal message, upload photos and view all your sponsors and their supportive messages.
Online fundraising is one of the fastest and easiest ways to reach you networks, and one of the easiest ways for pople to make donations.
By setting up your Duck's Individual Fundraising Page or your Team's Fundraising Page you will have your very own online space where you will be able to clearly communicate your fundraising goals and you will have all the tools you need in place to quickly communicate to via email and social networks.
1. Purchase your duck or register a team in the Team Duck Race Challenge
2. Create your INDIVIDUAL PAGE CLICK HERE or for TEAM DUCK RACE CHALLENGE CLICK HERE and select 'start fundraising' button and create your page.
3. Personalise your page – upload your photos, name your team duck race page and write a personal message explaining why you are asking for support. Show your sponsors why you are inspired to support cancer research and that will in turn inspire them too!
4. Sponsor yourself! Kick start your page and put your money where your mouth is and make a personal donation to your team duck page. If you are asking for donations, lead by example. The larger the first donation the more inclined sponsors will be to follow your lead.
5. Your teams duck race page is a great way to track all your fundraising and keep your sponsors up-to-date on your progress. It also allows you to keep track of other duck race team fundraising as see who is moving up the quack-o-metre leaderboard.
Communicate and promote your efforts!
Once you’re set up, the next thing to do is promote, promote, promote!
Make sure all of you or all of your team members are using all of their online networks, email, facebook, twitter and myspace.
Send an email to all of your contacts and ask for their support! The site gives you all the pre-made email options that you can personalise or just send of all of your friends, family and co-workers, clients and suppliers. People that know you or deal with you on a regular basis will want to help out.

Be creative! The more ways you promote your cause, the more ways people can support you. Put your webpage address on your auto-signature, on posters at work or attaché it to your facebook page.
